Produktbeschreibung
In the complex environment of cyberspace, communication processes develop through multiple semiosis, such as images, words, audio, and video, which interact with each other within a composition to encompass content and construct meaning. Such meanings can be retrieved in multimodal analysis, given that navigation in hypermedia is based on the form, structure, and aesthetics of the virtual environment. The study of information organization on art magazine homepages is based on Systemic Functional Theory (SFT) and Multimodal Discourse Analysis (MDA). By focusing on the functions of language and its use in the sphere of human relations, SFT concepts provide a useful basis for analyzing the meaning that emerges from the text. The corpus of this work consists of samples from the homepages of five art magazines from the BRICS countries: Bravo! magazine from Brazil; Iskusstvo ( ) magazine from Russia; ART India magazine from India; LEAP ( ) magazine from China; and Art Times magazine from South Africa.
