Christina Vaughan, aka C. C. Vaughan, was born in Pawhuska, Oklahoma. Her first six years were spent on her parents' cattle ranch. They moved to Bartlesville, Oklahoma after that, where she lived until moving to her mother's native city of San Francisco, and later the North Bay. A pianist, Christina studied music in college, as well as creative writing, but preferred editing and writing. She was the Senior Editor for a small publisher and is now a freelance editor and publishing coordinator. She has written 14 You-Draw-It Books, 4 children's novels, and an adult novel.
