Amèlia Mora es licenciada en Comunicación Audiovisual y está especializada en escritura de guiones y desarrollo audiovisual. Ha desarrollado su carrera entre el cine, la televisión y la literatura. En el campo audiovisual, tiene amplia experiencia en la edición de guiones. Algunas de las películas en las que ha trabajado son [REC]2, La posesión de Emma Evans, Mientras duermes, Amics per sempre o El viaje de Marta. También ha escrito guiones: coescribió junto a Albert Val la película Copito de Nieve (Andrés G. Schaer, 2011) y ha coescrito varios capítulos de la serie La unidad, de Daniel de la Torre y Alberto Marini, que estrenará en mayo de 2020. Su proyecto de largometraje de ciencia ficción Adam 937 fue seleccionado para participar en el IV Laboratorio de Escritura de Guiones Cinematográficos de la SGAE. En el campo literario, ha quedado finalista del Premio Edebé de Literatura Infantil en dos ocasiones y ha publicado un total de doce novelas infantiles (El castell negre del senyor Bogròs, Y Rapunzel se cortó la melena, El regreso de la Cigüeña, la novelización de Copito de Nieve, cuatro volúmenes de la serie Escola d'Hípica, Diario de (una chifl)Ada y la serie Samanta F.).
