Carla has been a nurse for over 30 years. She has worked in a variety of specialties during her career. Her favourite years were spent in trauma intensive care and as a flight nurse. While she has published several articles in peer-reviewed medical journals, this is her first work of fiction.Carla lives in Calgary with her husband and has two adult daughters. She is currently easing into retirement.
