Nasceu em 1974 em Salónica. Licenciado na Academia do Exército Helénico em 1996 como Oficial de Artilharia. Licenciado em todas as escolas de carreira do exército e no Supremo Colégio de Guerra Conjunto. Titular de um mestrado em gestão pela Universidade Helénica Internacional. Foi nomeado em unidades de artilharia de campanha como oficial de comando e em quartéis-generais da NATO como oficial de estado-maior.
