Dopo aver conseguito la specializzazione in Chirurgia orale e maxillo-facciale, l'autore ha svolto un'intensa attività in Traumatologia maxillo-facciale e Patologia orale e maxillo-facciale. Recentemente ha seguito una formazione avanzata in Oncologia chirurgica della testa e del collo. L'autore ha scritto alcuni importanti articoli di riferimento in Chirurgia e Patologia Craniofacciale e della Base Cranica.
