Sie hat einen Abschluss in Zahnmedizin von der Bundesuniversität Paraná (2002), einen Master in Public Health von der Bundesuniversität Santa Catarina (2004) und einen Doktortitel in Zahnmedizin - Schwerpunkt Kinderzahnheilkunde - von der Bundesuniversität Santa Catarina (2010). Sie hat Erfahrung in der klinischen Zahnmedizin und in der Lehre.
