Mark's Gospel: Text, Translation, Interpretation, vol. 1: 1:1-8:26 This volume offers an in-depth examination of the Gospel's Greek text, including translation into English of all the variant readings covered, details on the words and grammar, coverage of how more than 2 dozen English versions translate each passage, and interpretive notes. While knowledge of Greek is useful, it is not required. This is the most thorough coverage of the text and translation of Mark to yet appear in English.
