Christianity has more to offer couples beyond a beautiful church wedding service. Christian faith abounds in practical wisdom about how to be successfully married, building a union that resonates with love as designed by the Creator. A Christian minister in the Anglican Church of Australia since 1980, Ralph G. Bowles has prepared many couples for their weddings-and their marriages. He has also provided pastoral counselling for married couples facing challenges. This thought-provoking and uplifting guide explores the Bible and several Anglican marriage services-historic and modern-to help followers of Christ and other couples interested in a church wedding to understand and live out the Christian way of marriage. Thirty-one short chapters, including engaging discussion questions, can be used daily for a month by couples or groups to explore a deeper, richer foundation for marriage. 'Find a successful marriage, and you will hear themes of the Christian faith and way of life, playing in a different key,' says Ralph. 'Like an overture to a symphony or the theme music in a movie, a good marriage plays the theme melodies found in the Christian faith.'
