Alexandra is an award-winning kidlit author who writes inclusive stories to inspire empathy, acceptance, understanding and kindness in our world. She is also the founder of Global Masterpiece Day, a day that honours neurodiverse and autistic thinkers in classrooms around the world! Alexandra has been featured in various media outlets including Kirkus Reviews Magazine, Publisher's Weekly, CBC and CTV. In 2025, her book Masterpiece will appear in McGraw Hill's collection and in Scholastic Book Fairs. Combining her 15 years of experience as a teacher with her expertise as an author, Alexandra loves to visit schools, libraries and organizations to inspire others to value the importance of their own stories. She lives in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada with her family and spends her days reading, writing, playing with her two young children and consuming too many cups of coffee.
