Lou Raguse is a journalist specializing in crime and courts. Since 2005, he has reported for NBC, CBS, and FOX affiliates in Minnesota, New York, Arizona, and South Dakota. His first book, Vanished in Vermillion, uncovered new information in a fifty-year-old cold case and was selected as the 2025 One Book Siouxland honor.
