Autorenporträt
David Fernández Fernández nació en El Puerto de Santa María y reside entre San Fernando y Prado del Rey, donde ejerce como profesor de Historia. Especialista en la historia reciente de América Latina, su tesis doctoral abordó la dictadura de Pinochet a través del testimonio oral, línea de investigación que amplió al estudiar las Ligas Agrarias Cristianas en Paraguay.Ha publicado numerosos artículos en revistas especializadas, incluido el Journal of Contemporary History, y es autor de La "Iglesia" que resistió a Pinochet y La herejía de seguir a Jesús, ambos editados por IEPALA. También coordinó el volumen La memoria filmada. América Latina a través de su cine. En el ámbito narrativo, su primera novela, Como grano de mostaza, fue finalista del IV Premio Internacional de Novela Histórica "Los Cerros de Úbeda" (2019). En 2021 publicó Todo cuerpo sumergido, consolidando su apuesta por la ficción histórica.
