Sie besuchte das The Near East Collage und dann das Türk Maarif Collage, nahm an einem IELTS-Kurs an der Oxford Brookes University teil, machte 2004 ihren Abschluss an der Eastern Mediterranean University, Fachbereich Englische Literatur, und 2008 an der Leeds Beckett University; MA English: 20th Century Literature, und promovierte an der Near East University im Bereich ELT.
