Evan Baughfman works in a very scary place: a middleschool! (He's a totally-not-evil teacher.) He lives in Cali¿fornia with his wife, Ashley, his children, Mason and Story,and their probably-not-evil-at-all black cat, Friday. Evanhas been reading and writing for fun since childhood. Afterdisturbing his mom with a tale about killer opossums, Evanknew that he wanted to write a book of his own someday.Evan was so serious about becoming an author that heearned a bachelor's degree in creative writing from Univer¿sity of Redlands.Evan writes all genres, but horror is where he is mostcomfortable. His short fiction has appeared in variousanthologies, including books from No Bad Books Press,Graveside Press, Inkd Publishing, and Black Hare Press.Evan's first short story collection, The Emaciated Man andOther Terrifying Tales from Poe Middle School, is publishedthrough Thurston Howl Publications.
