This book examines the role of media and culture in shaping contemporary conditions of violence. It argues that the collective pursuit and expression of our economic, sexual, social and political desires has catalyzed significant social transformations in human history.
A mobilization leader since 1988, Jeff has trained indigenous mobilizers and developed field strategies in over 36 countries. He taught for 23 years at California Baptist University and Oklahoma Baptist University and has planted and pastored churches in Pennsylvania and California. He also co-founded and co-directed the Passion Conferences (1997-2000).Jeff is married to Elaine, and they have seven adult children and 22 grandchildren.
