Arash Mokhtari Karchegani è nato a Isfahan, in Iran. Ha conseguito la laurea in Biotecnologie agrarie presso l'Università di Teheran nel 2004. Attualmente è dottorando in Allevamento vegetale presso l'Università Islamica Azad di Isfahan e lavora presso l'Istituto di ricerca sulle biotecnologie agricole dell'Iran, in qualità di direttore del Dipartimento di coltura di tessuti vegetali.
