Contemporary poetry for hearts that ache. This bilingual poetry book pairs English and Hindi, not translations but twin voices, offering modern love poems and healing poetry. Everyday relics carry longing: a sock and a chappal, a warm mug rim, a fraying quilt, a guitar by the window, and stars that count when you cannot. These are verses about grief and moving on, about memory, hope, and home. If you keep a name hidden in your chest, open these pages. Let tenderness find you, let tears feel like mercy, and discover contemporary Indian poetry that quietly mends what broke.

Autorenporträt
Abhash Singh was born in Jamshedpur, where he grew up filling school notebooks with poems and sketching scenes for movies in his head. He works in films as a Writer and Director, and writes in English and Hindi. He believes images and lines are cousins, and that small relics of a day can hold whole lives. Between film sets and quiet desks, he keeps returning to the things that refuse to leave: the window, the cup, the hush before a word. This is his first book of poetry, gathered from years of loving language and learning how to listen.
