Life took me far from those tenement closes - into the world of sport, business, and adventure - from climbing Mont Blanc to meeting explorers, royalty, and remarkable people along the way. Now in my seventies, I look back with gratitude for a life that was never planned but always full of surprises .Memories of a Glaswegian Septuagenarian is my reflection of the people, places, and moments that made the journey truly unforgettable.
