The linguistic semiologies found in an aphasic picture may differ from one language to another in the multilingual or bilingual subject with aphasia. Also, the memory system and attention may or may not be dysfunctional. The need to consider the presence of cognitive disorders in the case of aphasia imposes itself on the practitioner in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of this linguistic pathology. In this article, we will highlight the linguistic semiology of various aphasic patients, followed by the behavior of their memory system and attention. We will then attempt to find a correlation (an existential link) between these two semiological realities (linguistic semiology; memory system and attention).
