Tired of mental health books that barely scratch the surface or offer quick-fix band-aids? Mental Wellness: The Secret Ingredients takes a deep dive into the root causes of mental health challenges-starting with hard science and biohacking. Holistic psychologist and nutritionist Colby J. C. Bryce, with four university degrees and a strong research background, guides you through optimizing over 20 key lab tests (blood, urine, saliva) that reveal your brain's true needs. For example, while the "normal" vitamin D range in Australia is 50-150 nmol/L, research shows 100 nmol/L is optimal for mental and physical health. This book decodes these numbers, showing you how to get lab results into ideal ranges-not just "normal." The overwhelming supplement market? Colby cuts through the noise with clear, evidence-based recommendations on specific forms and exact doses proven to support mental wellbeing. This isn't just theory - every chapter ends with practical, science-backed steps to improve nutrition, sleep, movement, supplementation, and more. If you're ready to stop guessing and start healing at the root level, this is your comprehensive, actionable roadmap to lasting mental wellness.
