G.Valli a obtenu son M.Com et son doctorat de l'Université Sri Venkateswara en 1993 et 2017 respectivement. Elle a obtenu un diplôme P.G et un M.Phil des universités de Pondichéry et de Periyar en 2002 et 2007 successivement. Elle a travaillé comme chargée de cours pendant 3 ans, publié 5 articles dans des revues et présenté des documents lors de 6 séminaires/conférences.
