Wubishet Sisay Jima è nato ad Arsi, Asella, Etiopia il 21 novembre 1981. Ha studiato Storia tra il 2000 e il 2004 presso il Debub University Dilla College of Teachers Education & Health Sciences e ha conseguito il B.Ed in Storia nel luglio 2004. Ha conseguito un master in Pianificazione dello sviluppo socioeconomico e della popolazione presso l'Università di Scienza e Tecnologia di Adama nel marzo 2015.
