In this work, the database for nickel-based superalloys was validated by comparing thermodynamic data calculated using software based on the Calphad method and the microstructural characterization of Inconel 718 and B1914 superalloys. The materials were acquired in the raw melt state, where heat treatments were initially carried out to solubilize the secondary phases in the matrix, followed by heat treatment at temperatures of 700 °C for Inconel 718 and 900 °C for B1914 for periods of 500, 1000 and 2000 hours in order to bring the microstructure of the material close to the thermodynamic equilibrium condition. Evaluating phase stability at these temperatures is extremely important for predicting the final characteristics of these materials when they are used.
