The MIG/MAG welding process is characterized by a large number of parameters which, with their variations, are directly related to the final quality of the weld bead. The objective of this study is to analyze, in short-circuit metal transfer, the influence of the feed rate of the filler metal, the voltage adjusted at the source, and the angle of the torch on the economic characteristics of the process (deposition yield) and the health and safety conditions in the welder's work environment.
