It is generally accepted that migration has become one of the manifestations of the globalisation of the world economy and is determined mainly by objective reasons. Migration, like any other process in a state, cannot be regulated without a legislative framework. Practically every country has developed and adopted numerous laws on labour migration, established migration services, and concluded intergovernmental agreements regulating migration processes between two states. Based on the above, this paper sets out the main objective of examining issues related to the harmonisation of the promising development of migration processes, namely between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tajikistan.
