Isaah Alford is an award-winning children's book author with a passion for storytelling and nursery rhymes. A graduate of Sacramento State with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, Isaah channels his creative energy into writing stories that both entertain and inspire young readers.His published works include Milah's Trip to the Magical Land, and Milah's Trip to the Amazing Aquarium, and several other titles in the Milah's Storybook Corner collection, including a Spanish-Language editions. Isaah's books have received 5-star reviews from Readers' Favorite and earned the Best Illustrator Award from the National Black Book Festival - Black Authors Matter Awards (2025).In June 2025, Isaah was featured on Good Day Sacramento, and he has since hosted six Barnes & Noble book signings-four in Northern California and two in San Diego County-as well as a special book signing and reading at Underground Books, a beloved local bookstore. He also completed his first bilingual Storytime event at the Barnes & Noble Mira Mesa location, reflecting his commitment to inclusive and accessible storytelling.Isaah's daughter, Milah, is the heart and inspiration behind his writing journey. Through their shared love of reading, he discovered his own passion for creating imaginative stories that celebrate family, learning, and adventure. When he's not writing, Isaah enjoys spending time with Milah, traveling, roller skating, and watching movies.
