Robusté, a started his career at the second biggest team in Barcelona, RCD Espanyol. He played for both Juvenil teams during 2003 04, and was a regular of the reserve team during his three-season spell, with 21 third division appearances in his second year, suffering team relegation. Robusté was loaned to Polideportivo Ejido for 2006 07, and played in 29 second level games for the Andalusia outfit. In summer 2007, he was released by the Catalans without any first-team appearances, and joined Levante UD in La Liga.
