MIS for Sustainable Corporate Growth explores the role of MIS for monitoring corporate performance and sustaining growth. Three study objectives, questions and hypotheses each, were developed for a study to confirm or otherwise, the validity of the theme/title of the book. The data collected from respondents were tested through rigorous qualitative analyses, correlation and variance hypothetical tests and further through cross-tabulation analyses, using SPSS to verify the use of MIS for monitoring corporate performance and sustaining growth. MIS is the study of people, technology and organization as an entity, and the relationships amongst them to ensure overall efficiency of the system. Through these relationships, MIS can provide vital management information, which as a resource is thoroughly examined in chapter 2, to unravel how it can be used by management to efficiently plan, organize, direct, control and govern organizations during the start-up phase and beyond. MIS generally is operative and useful when it involves the activities of people (including employees, consumers and customers), technology and organization as an entity and good relationships amongst them for success.
