Maryanne Johns is a Noongar woman, born in the south-west, wheatbelt town of Katanning in Western Australia. She is a writer who found her talent with her first book, Mischievous Mackie. She is the mother of five beautiful children, who are also the muses for her fun and lyrical children s book stories. She dreams of expanding her writing repertoire beyond children s stories to novels.
