After 25 years as a teacher and literacy coach in Southern California, Carolyn Femrite enjoys writing books for children. With a Master's Degree in Multicultural Education, she understands the importance of building a feeling of confidence and self-worth in all children. She teams with her mother, Marilyn Clifford, a local water color artist to compose this book about an underachiever who finds success by believing in himself. She is currently retired and resides with her husband in Southern California. After raising two daughters, she now spends her time writing, traveling, gardening, golfing and taking care of her grandson.
