Modelaje de un cuerpo' is an inquiry into the essence of things, into what makes them unrepeatable: rain and memory, the return home, the body and the moments that are lost but which, through the poem, the evocations of a smell, of touch, become recoverable at last. Between experience and memory, between sensation and nostalgia, the body becomes the key and the destination for a deep and celebratory exploration of the essential. In this way, the author turns the modeling and work of corporeality, of the gaze and desire, into an authentic lyrical reconstruction of the world. The poet, Claudio Rodríguez scholar and philosopher Jorge Fernández Gonzalo brings together in Modelaje de un cuerpo all his knowledge and sayings to build a vibrant love dialogue, of which he only offers us one of the parts, that of the poetic I, which expresses the world for the loved one. A book about love, nature and the nature of love, expressed in clean and clear verses, as if washed by the rain of language'. VICENTE LUIS MORA "His poems transit the beauty of an intimate world, which is known to be built between two, with a simple language but rich in its forms: in his gaze unfold the azaleas, the milenramas, but also the bare hollows and the domestic space yet to be inhabited. Above all, her poetry translates into an insistent invitation to love'. STEFANIA CABELLO
