This book is a great scientific work in irrigation includes three partitions as follow: 1-Irrigation systems: It deals with the evolution of irrigation systems throughout history, as it provides a brief overview of traditional irrigation methods and their stages of development until they are examined in their current form. It explained the possibility of developing modern irrigation systems, and that it has the advantage that it has the flexibility to accept the development in it if it is needed and explains some applications such as fertilization through irrigation and also study economic costs. 2-Crop production: it explains the specific factors of the agricultural production process, the selection of the irrigation system and the factors influencing this selection and explains the importance of using irrigation systems to minimize the damage of climate change. 3- Modeling and simulation: explains with two types of simulation models, the first (Hydrocalc) American version and is used in the design of advanced irrigation systems in the field. The second simulation model (AquaCrop) is used in predictions of crop production under different conditions.
