Wilhelm K. Weber begann seine Hotel Karriere im Alter von 14 Jahren mit einem Minibar-Wagen auf der Etage. Bevor er im Bereich Revenue Management und Distribution seine Karriere begründete, durchlief er sämtliche Stationen des operativen Hotel Management. Da er sich von Anfang an für die betriebswirtschaftlichen Aspekte des Hospitality Business interessierte, gründete er gemeinsam mit Gianluca Marongiu SHS Swiss Hospitality Solutions. Weber besitzt mehrere Hochschul-Abschlüsse, darunter das Diplom der Schweizerischen Hotelfachschule Luzern SHL, sowie zwei Abschlüsse der Cornell University. Er ist Dozent an verschiedenen Hochschulen, Autor mehrere Fachbücher und zahlreicher Fachartikel. Für sein Engagement wurde er 2010 mit dem "European Young Industry Leader" Award geehrt.
