This book emphasizes on the utilization of plant based chemicals instead of petroleum based chemicals to fulfill the demand of science to build a green and sustainable society. The book consists of 5 chapters. The synthesized nanoparticles have been utilized as green efficient catalyst for C-C coupling reactions (Suzuki coupling and Heck coupling) under aerobic and phosphine- free condition and reduction of organic dyes (methylene blue and rhodamine-b) using sodium borohydride in aqueous medium.
