Unable to imagine what it would be like never to learn to read, Marilyn channels her creative talents into crafting stories that inspire learning, spark imagination, and offer comfort. Her work reaches parents, teachers, adult learners, and ESL students worldwide. Growing up on the vast, open Canadian Prairies, Marilyn developed a deep appreciation for hard work and the quiet beauty of simplicity. Now living in a busy city with her husband, those values prevail and reveal themselves in story themes of empathy and resilience.Drawing inspiration from her exceptional stuffies, Molly and Totem, Cat (the cat) would be her cat of choice if she could make it so.
