Kimberley (Kim) Hammer, Esq., is a thoughtful, collaborative professional who builds strong, productive relationships and focuses on results. She has over 28 years of fundraising experience and executive leadership within the nonprofit sector, and she is skilled in designing and executing creative, high-impact fundraising strategies. Kim works side-by-side with organizations to assist with planned giving, major gifts, board governance, annual fund strategies and stewardship. Kim has served as a senior advisor to university presidents, CEOs, and Executive Directors of several nonprofit organizations. She has managed advancement teams to create positive and productive teams focused on metrics and mentored numerous advancement professionals to help them advance in their careers. Kim has also worked to advance athletic fundraising at the higher education level for several institutions. Kim serves on the Boards of the Hampton Roads Association of Fundraising Professionals and the Gift Planning Council of Hampton Roads. A graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University and the University of Cincinnati College of Law, Kim and her husband, Ted, live in Virginia Beach, Virginia, with their twin sons, Blake and Trent, and Goldendoodle, Grace. Kim enjoys cooking, golf, walking and pickleball.
