I have written this memoir of my children's (Kelly's and Scott's) courageous wars against cancer , for all the countless people who love Scott and Kelly. They fought their wars so valiantly! Those of you who read this who have cancer or love people with cancer, may also shed tears as you recognize the suffering, the prayers for healing, the love, the desperation, as cancer sufferers literally disintegrate before our eyes and we, to some degree, disintegrate with them. I have written this memoir as a special tribute to my children; however, I am praying for all cancer warriors.
