The book focuses on monetary policy and welfare in Africa. To do this, we took into account the two dimensions of well-being, namely objective well-being and subjective well-being (happiness) following the teaching of Joseph Stiglitz et al. (2009) and Frey et al. (2002). To achieve our objectives, we used econometric tools (OLS and DMC in our case). It emerges from this work that monetary policy has a positive effect in Africa on both dimensions of well-being through economic growth.
