Emile Sodyte started writing during her first pregnancy, which called for a project that could easily scale with the commitments of a new mother.Keeping with her project throughout maternity and a second pregnancy, she finished her debut novel, Moonlit Awakening, approximately two years later. Falling in love with the works of J.K. Rowling as a child, she transitioned from intense fanfiction, including Manacled, through Jane Austen, into dark fantasy romance.Dedicated to her craft, she has read just about every dark romance book there is, and her love of reading is second only to the love for her two boys, her dog, and her husband.
