Mike was born in Anchorage, AK in 1983 and moved to Bakersfield, CA as a kid. Mike has a bachelor's degree in business management and eventually started a career as a safety professional. Mike grew up coming to Alaska in the summers and fishing the middle Kenai River, and on his uncle's ocean boat in Seward. Mike moved back to Alaska permanently in 2016 and currently resides in Wasilla, AK with his wife and two kids.
