The poems in this book attempt to delve deep into the lethean labyrinthe of human mind, expressing the pain and suffering in conditions like PTSD, Bipolar Disorder, Alzheimer's, ASPD etc. Some other poems in this collection follow a slightly different route, talking about love and loss of love as well. A few poems in this collection have been inspired by events happening in the author's life and their repercussions, adding a deeply personal touch to them. Heavy on metaphors and cultural connotations, many of these poems are designed in a manner that belies their controlled chaos.

Autorenporträt
Aritra Kumar Das is a relatively new face in the realm of literature. A teacher and researcher by profession, and a poet by passion, he has composed several poems for a few in-print magazines and anthologies. His writing style is diverse, although definitively inspired by Robert Frost, Edgar Allan Poe, Emily Dickinson, Allen Ginsberg, Bob Kaufman, Elise Cowen among others. He is fond of blank verse but likes to experiment.
