The Architectural Diagnosis Method (ARCHI) is a way of assessing tree decline and resilience. It is based on reading the symptoms observed in the crown. Applying this method to the Atlas pistachio allows us to assess the resilience of this species, which is typical of arid and semi-arid regions in Algeria. In addition, the dendrometric data collected will be useful for determining the condition of the stands studied. The present work was carried out in the Messaâd region (Wilaya of Djelfa) in two groves of Atlas pistachio. The results show a regular forest structure dominated by two diameter classes (large wood - very large wood) at Oum El Khacheb and an irregular structure dominated by three classes (perches - small wood - very large wood) at El Khoua. Natural regeneration is estimated at 9% in the Oum El Khechab grove and 22.49% in El Khoua. The architectural study of the Atlas pistachio studied shows the presence of an ARCHI "S-R-St-D-M" type stand in Oum El Khechab and "S-R-DI-St-M-D" in El Khoua.
