Autorenporträt
I began a new life in Rushden in 1975 following the death of both my parents within 6 months, just a year before this! I was married at 18 and moved to Rushden shortly afterwards. I worked initially in the old shoe factories and tanneries initially before starting a job in the building trade. I met many of the old characters in both of these roles, many of them had served in the second world war.
