Virginia Woolf (1882-1941) was a pioneer of modernism and an icon of emancipation. As the 'heart' of the renowned Bloomsbury Group, she published her first essays in 1904 and her first novel, The Voyage out, in 1915. In her novels Mrs Dalloway (1925) and To the Lighthouse (1927), she proved herself to be a critical observer of social and political conditions and broke with outdated literary traditions. Anne Sauer, geb. 1989, lebt als Autorin und Moderatorin in Hamburg. Nach ihrem Studium der Philosophie und der Buchwissenschaften arbeitete sie als Literaturvermittlerin u. a. im Podcast Monatslese oder als @fuxbooks auf Instagram. 2024 erschien ihr viel beachteter Essay Look What She Made Us Do über Taylor Swift. Im Jahr 2025 folgte ihr Romandebüt Im Leben nebenan.
