Inger Birkeland is Professor of Human Geography at the University of South-Eastern Norway (USN). Steffen F. Johannessen is an Associate Professor in the Department of Culture, Religion and Social Studies at the University of South-Eastern Norway (USN). Guro Nordby (Ph.D.) is employed as a researcher at the Norwegian Industrial Workers Museum, Norway. Benjamin Richards (Ph.D.) is employed at Hardanger and Voss Museum, Norway.
