Karen Perks is an entrepreneur with businesses in Australia and the United Kingdom. She specialises in strategic business, tender and grant writing. She is also a published author who has contributed to anthologies such as Courage and Confidence and Hear Us Roar. The latter will be developed into a ten-book series and a docufilm for Apple TV. Karen's personal experience with the medical misdiagnosis of her daughter, Mikayla, inspired her to write Mum, Please Help Me, a moving memoir advocating for patient rights and better communication within the healthcare system.
