Murder never goes out of style, and when the hit TV antiques appraisal show Relic or Rubbish descends on Thistlethorne Lodge, comedy legend Polly Pepper is ready for her moment in the spotlight-even if it means sharing her English castle with bickering experts. But when the show's top clock expert keels over and dies during a live broadcast, Polly suspects someone's been tinkering with more than just timepieces. The official story? Death by natural causes. Polly's theory? Not so fast. With one dead appraiser and a bunch of living suspects, Polly dusts off her magnifying glass and snooping skills and sets out to uncover the truth. What she finds is a ticking time bomb of jealousy, ambition, and a flashy little tech start-up with a scheme to snatch heirlooms on the cheap-and a motive worth killing for. Wickedly witty and irresistibly sharp, Murder in Mint Condition proves that while antiques may gather dust, Polly Pepper gathers suspects-and never lets a clue slip through the cracks.
