"The only witness to a gruesome body disposal in suburban West Palm Beach is Maggie Metronia, who gets away from the murderer and runs to her housemate Carolyn Cramer. Not the first time the two have faced down a murderer. And hopefully, as a reader, it won't be the last. The trip home down U.S. 1 has Maggie and her loyal friends, Carolyn and Homer followed by a detective and deputy from the PBSO taking their comp time to act as body guards. But what if they're tailed by the murderer from Windsor Park? Last stop, the end of the road, Key West."-Michael Haskins Even on vacation, Maggie Metronia can't catch a break from dead bodies and murderers. All she wanted to do was watch the sunset like she did every night in Key West, while sitting on a lakeside swing at the senior community where she and her friend Carolyn Cramer are housesitting for Carolyn's old friend in west Palm Beach when, once again, she finds herself not only seeing another dead body, but being confronted by the killer. Will she escape this time to see another beautiful sunset at the end of the road or is this 70ish wannabe sleuth at the end of her luck?
