With a career in education that has spanned over 25 years, Liz has inspired learners of all ages as an elementary teacher, education director of a science school, university instructor, and educational researcher. She holds a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction and currently teaches future educators at Montana State University. Her research focuses on literacy and dyslexia, driven by a deep commitment to helping all children access education.Outside the classroom, Liz lives in Bozeman, Montana, with her amazing husband, super cool son, her two dog BFFs, a tarantula, and a flock of quirky chickens. She loves to read, go on adventures, and eat good food. She loves science and history, and Ms. Frizzle is her favorite teacher. As a lifelong bookworm, she's especially passionate about children's literature and fantasy stories, especially if they include a dragon.
