Her story is more than unique--it's a testament to unwavering strength and determination to thrive in a new culture while overcoming personal and societal challenges. Growing up in vibrant Queens, New York, Mariem faced a personal battlefield--struggling to belong while striving for academic success. Her perseverance continued through college, where she conquered challenges with ESL and test-taking hurdles, showcasing her relentless determination to succeed.
